(WatchDogReport.org) – The concern about critical race theory (CRT) has grown considerably in the last few months. At first, there were concerns about the theory being taught to students in grade school. However, now CRT has spread throughout the federal government and military. That has caused legal watchdogs to take action.
According to a July 6 report by Just the News, the Southeastern Legal Foundation (SLF) is fighting CRT in the courts. The organization has filed lawsuits against the federal government and school districts. For instance, the SLF filed a suit to stop the school district in Evanston, IL from implementing CRT in classrooms. SLF General Counsel Kimberly Hermann accused the school district of segregating white and minority teachers in order to train them with different lessons.

Hermann says the Biden administration recently signed an executive order spreading CRT throughout the government. Now, the SLF is fighting the government to stop it from mandating the allegedly racist program across federal agencies. The organization is taking the fight into its own hands and could make a big impact at the judicial level. This could be the way organizations finally stop the overreaching Biden administration from implementing the harmful policy.
