Unrest at Capitol Is Proof That Rep. Boebert Was Right to Carry a Gun in Congress

(WatchDogReport.org) – On January 4, the Washington Post published a hit piece about Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) after she ran an ad about carrying her gun on the grounds of the US Capitol. Anti-gun Liberals expressed outrage over the ad and DC Police Chief Robert J. Contee III said he was going to reach out to her and explain the laws in the city. Ironically, just two days later, an incident showed the world why the Second Amendment is critical.

On January 6, lawmakers cowered in the Capitol building as suspected Antifa agitators allegedly dressed as Trump supporters attacked. The police did not stop the rioters from entering the building. Suddenly, the following statement from Rep. Boebert made a lot of sense:

It’s not clear what exactly happened with law enforcement that day, but it’s very clear that lawmakers should not have to give up their Second Amendment rights when they enter the Capitol. Sure, they survived this time, but what about next time? Doesn’t Rep. Boebert have the right to go home to her family at night?
