(WatchDogReport.org) – President Donald Trump was able to create one of the best economies in American history. Before the coronavirus hit, the US had the lowest unemployment rate in 50 years. Now, it looks like the administration is doing it again.
As of the final week of September, The Hill reported the number of people filing for unemployment dropped to the lowest level since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Although the unemployment rate is still above 8%, the latest numbers are promising. The economic fallout from the pandemic was terrible, but President Trump is righting the ship. He has vowed to continue the recovery if he is elected for a second term next month.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden has a tax plan that could hurt the recovery if he wins. Trump has said he will reduce taxes and regulations in order to create more good-paying jobs for the American people. On November 3, Voters will decide who they trust with the economy.
