Trump Extended Secret Service Protection to His Family Before Leaving Office

(WatchDogReport.org) – There’s no doubt the country is incredibly divided right now. Democrats, in particular, hated former President Donald Trump and his family. So, it’s no surprise that he took steps to protect his loved ones and administration officials before he left office.

On January 20, news organizations reported that Trump extended Secret Service protection to his four adult children — Ivanka, Don Jr., Eric, and Tiffany — along with two of their spouses — Lara and Jared — for the next six months. Former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, former Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and former National Security Advisor Robert C. O’Brien will also receive protection for the same period of time.

Presidential historian Michael Beschloss and other leftists are making a big deal about Trump’s decision.

Maybe it’s unusual for the adult children of a former president to receive Secret Service protection, but we live in unusual times. The Left has already shown, through countrywide riots, they aren’t afraid of using violence. Trump is unwilling to put his children and top officials in danger, and who would?
