Trump Allies Bring in Lawyers to Take on Joe Biden

(WatchDogReport.org) – When President Joe Biden passed his COVID-19 stimulus package, it reportedly contained a provision that allowed the federal government to discriminate against white farmers. Now, a legal group started by former President Donald Trump’s aide, Stephen Miller, is suing the Biden administration on behalf of Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller.

On April 26, America First Legal filed a lawsuit over the administration’s program that sets funds aside for “socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers.” According to the group, it excludes white people because the Department of Agriculture defines “socially disadvantaged” as “African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, Alaskan natives, Asian-Americans, and Pacific Islanders.” The lawsuit claims the program “actively and invidiously” discriminates against Americans based on their race.

Miller told Fox News that the program is “fundamentally unAmerican.” He said it shouldn’t matter what race the people are, everyone deserves help in the wake of the pandemic. The Biden administration hasn’t commented on the lawsuit.
