(WatchDogReport.org) – “Where there’s a will, there’s a way,” is a phrase that definitely describes the thieves in a recent story out of Russia. And their crime is leaving people around the world scratching their heads.
On December 7, Russian officials revealed the country’s “doomsday plane” was burglarized. The Ilyushin-80 aircraft is supposed to carry President Vladimir Putin and the country’s other top officials if there’s a nuclear attack.
The plane was housed at Beriev Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex when thieves broke into it and stole 39 pieces of radio equipment. According to reports, the stolen goods contained precious metals.
