(WatchDogReport.org) – Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) is one of the most popular Conservatives in the country right now, and for good reason. He regularly pushes back against Democratic policies like critical race theory, vaccine passports, and defunding the police. Recently, the governor received a standing ovation when he spoke about battling Progressives.
During the Faith & Freedom Coalition’s Road to Majority Conference that took place June 17-19, DeSantis said that he wants to lead the fight against the Left. He told the audience the fights that lie ahead aren’t going to be easy, but they have to “be strong.” The governor explained that they have to “put on the full armor of God” and “take a stand.” He said they’re going to “face flaming arrows,” but they need to pick up the “shield of faith and fight on.”
“These are tough fights, and you gotta be willing to get into that arena… You have to take a stand against the left’s schemes. You have to be firm… You will face flaming arrows, but take up the shield of faith and fight on!” – @GovRonDeSantis

DeSantis also said Americans need to learn that their rights don’t come from politicians in DC, “They come from God.”
DeSantis’ name has come up a lot during conversations about the 2024 presidential election. Former President Donald Trump has even said he would consider the governor as a possible running mate should he choose to run again. DeSantis, however, has not indicated that he has any plans to run for higher office just yet.
