Nancy Pelosi Humiliates “The Squad” in Public Book

Nancy Pelosi Humiliates

(WatchDogReport.org) – Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and the progressive members of her caucus dubbed “The Squad” have not always been on the best terms. The California congresswoman has repeatedly clashed with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) in the past. Once again, it seems she’s creating a conflict within the party she’s supposed to lead.

Pelosi sat down for 10 interviews with USA Today’s Washington Bureau Chief Susan Page for an upcoming biography entitled, “Madam Speaker: Nancy Pelosi and the Lessons of Power.” During the interviews, the Speaker reportedly began speaking in a child-like voice when talking about Ocasio-Cortez, and gave members of the progressive caucus a piece of advice: they’re members of Congress, “not a one-person show.”

The Speaker didn’t just attack AOC, though. She also trashed former President Barack Obama and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY). It seemed Pelosi wanted to unload all of her disdain in the new book. It’s not clear if she has anything to say about anyone else, but the book hits shelves on April 20. Will it start a war within the Democratic Party?
