(WatchDogReport.org) – In June, Naftali Bennett became Israel’s new prime minister for the next two years. The politician worked with opposition leader Yair Lapid to unseat ex-Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after 12 years. Now, President Joe Biden and the new leader will meet for the first time.

On Thursday, August 26, Naftali and Biden will meet at the White House. The new Israeli prime minister told his cabinet he’ll discuss a plan to stop Iran. He said he doesn’t believe the nuclear agreement with the country is relevant anymore, and doesn’t think the US president should give the nation a “lifeline” by allowing them to reenter the treaty.
The Iranian government believes Israel is one of its biggest enemies.
Israel’s relationship with the US is incredibly important to national security. The nation is America’s closest ally in the Middle East. Given Iran’s increasingly aggressive behavior, it’s more important than ever for the US to maintain a healthy relationship with the new Israeli prime minister. The only way to stop the hostile nation is by working together.
Hopefully, Biden can get the far-left to stop slandering the Israeli government and respect the important relationship between the nations.
