(WatchDogReport.org) – January 3 was the anniversary of the 2020 US drone strike that killed Iranian General Qasem Soleimani. In the days before the anniversary, Iran’s judiciary chief Ebrahim Raisi threatened to seek “severe revenge” for the terrorist’s death. That’s what makes the recent move by the country’s military so disturbing.
According to The Times of Israel, Iran held a “joint and large-scale” drone drill on January 5. The country’s military said the first of its kind two-day drill involves “hundreds of operational drones” in multiple parts of the country.

The fact that the country chose to hold drone drills right after the anniversary of Soleimani’s death by a strike with the same weapon is not lost. It’s clear the Iranian government is trying to intimidate and threaten the US. Now, the question becomes what the country plans to do with the weapons.
