GOP Congressman Calls The Squad the “Hamas Caucus”

GOP Congressman Calls

( – Some Democratic lawmakers have taken a lot of heat over the last few months for their anti-Israel rhetoric. The congresswomen that make up the far-left group, dubbed “The Squad,” are arguably the worst offenders. Republicans recently introduced a resolution to censure them, and one of those GOP lawmakers had a lot to say about it.

Reps. Mike Waltz (R-FL), Jim Banks (R-IN), and Claudia Tenney (R-NY) moved to censure their Democratic colleagues, Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY), Rashida Tlaib (MI), Ayanna Pressley (MA) and Ilhan Omar, for “defending foreign terrorist organizations.” The four women repeatedly slammed Israel when Hamas, a Palestinian terrorist group, bombed the Jewish state. After introducing the resolution, Waltz joined Fox News to talk about it.

The Republican lawmaker said “The Squad” is now known as the “Hamas Caucus” because they have made a “series of statements” against Israel and others. Only days before the GOP lawmakers moved to censure her, Omar made an appalling anti-American statement comparing the US to terrorists.

During the interview, Fox host Sandra Smith asked Waltz if he was worried some people would be critical of him for comparing the Democrats to terrorists. He was not bothered because he said that they have shown a pattern of turning a “blind eye” to the behavior of terrorists.

The Squad has not specifically responded to Waltz.
