(WatchDogReport.org) – There have been rumblings over the last year or so of people wanting to “re-educate” conservatives. Many people chalked it up to some conspiracy theory and laughed at those who said it. Now, they will have to eat their words.
On February 8, Salon published an interview with former FBI Assistant Director Frank Figliuzzi. Writer Chauncey DeVega asked the former official what could be done to “de-radicalize [Donald] Trump’s political cult members.” Instead of condemning him for ever suggesting such a thing, Figliuzzi said “not enough is done to combat” domestic terrorism, and he pointed to the Capitol Hill incident as an example. He went on to say we have to “deprogram” those who don’t think Joe Biden won the election.
This is something Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has said, as well. David Atkins, a member of the Democratic National Committee, talked about deprogramming Trump voters shortly after the election, too.
No seriously…how *do* you deprogram 75 million people? Where do you start? Fox? Facebook?
We have to start thinking in terms of post-WWII Germany or Japan. Or the failures of Reconstruction in the South.

It sure doesn’t sound like a conspiracy theory now, does it?
