(WatchDogReport.org) – UFO sightings have been in the news a lot over the last couple of years. In 2019, the US Navy admitted that some UFO videos were real and started to publicly call them “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP).” Now, the Senate is waiting to read a declassified report about the objects.
In June, the Pentagon is supposed to hand over the report to lawmakers. The report is the result of a directive by former President Donald Trump’s COVID-19 CARES Act. It required the director of national intelligence to put together an unclassified report the public can read.
Another former federal official is acknowledging the possible existence of UFOs just a couple of weeks before a government-sanctioned report on "unidentified aerial phenomena" is expected to be sent to Congress.https://t.co/mdbGT0Y2JS

The report will reportedly include data collected by the military during the sightings. What exactly lawmakers are going to do with the information is unclear. There’s an obvious national security concern about the UAP sightings in US airspace, but what that means for possible legislation or military responses is up in the air. When reporters asked Senate Intelligence Committee Chair Sen. Mark R. Warner (D-VA) about the report, he refused to comment.
