(WatchDogReport.org) – For years, victims said billionaire Jeffrey Epstein preyed on them as part of an underage sex trafficking ring. They also alleged that Ghislaine Maxwell was his partner. That’s why she’s currently awaiting trial for crimes related to her former lover. But, she isn’t happy about the way she’s being treated in jail.
On Tuesday, February 16, Attorney Bobbi Sternheim sent a letter to a judge and alleged a guard at the Metropolitan Detention Center abused Maxwell. She claims a guard physically hurt her during a pat-down and then “she was threatened with disciplinary action.” Epstein’s ex-girlfriend said she was forced to clean a shower after she reported the alleged abuse.

Sternheim claimed Maxwell is “withering to a shell of her former self” because of all the alleged suffering she’s enduring.
Neither the Federal Bureau of Prisons or the prosecutors involved in the case commented on the allegations. Maxwell is expected to go to trial to answer the charges against her in July. She’s pleaded not guilty.
