(WatchDogReport.org) – Democratic infighting over the last several months has hit new lows. Moderate Senators Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) and Joe Manchin (D-WV) are taking a lot of heat from their party for not falling in line and killing the filibuster to pass their controversial voting rights bill. The attacks on the senators have become vicious. And, as we’ve come to expect, they’ve devolved into accusations of racism.
During a January 16 MSNBC interview, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) claimed Manchin and Sinema “don’t care” about black people and minorities. She said their refusal to pass the voting rights bill has “sent a signal” to constituents.

Waters isn’t the only one who has made nasty comments that imply the senators are racists. President Joe Biden spoke out in Atlanta, GA, last week where he compared the lawmakers who won’t go along with the party’s plans to pass his voting rights bill to George Wallace, who is a former Democratic Alabama governor and well-known segregationist.
On Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday, Sinema posted a tribute to the civil rights leader on Twitter. Her comment section was soon filled with blue checkmark Leftists attacking her. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said the senators will likely be primaried. And the list of attacks goes on.
